KBB empowers Shougang Park International Convention and Exhibition Town,

 creating One-Stop Entrance and Exit Solutions for the Permanent CIFTIS Venue

The permanent venue of the China International Fair for Trade in Services has been completed, with the Shougang Park International Convention and Exhibition Town making a stunning debut, expanding to create a “Fifth Facade” (Source: CCTV-13 News Channel)

From a century-old industrial rust belt to a national-level international convention and exhibition showcase, as the permanent venue of CIFTIS, Shougang Park International Convention and Exhibition Town has now officially put its newly built exhibition halls into use. Through three-dimensional upgrading, it activates roof space to create an iconic “Fifth Facade,” enabling dual-purpose use in normal times and during exhibitions and efficient reuse. The exhibition halls continue the industrial aesthetics of steel gray, rust red, and metallic silver, integrating blast furnace industrial relics with modern convention and exhibition architecture, and welcoming global merchants to gather at CIFTIS 2026.

Large convention and exhibition venues are characterized by instantaneous large visitor flows, high-frequency passage, transfer of large exhibits, and all-weather continuous operation. These impose multiple combined requirements on entrance and exit door control systems, including passage efficiency, durability, security and fire protection, and architectural aesthetic compatibility. Different passages require differentiated door product combinations, and conventional standardized door types cannot meet all-scenario needs at once.

KBB provided a one-stop entrance and exit solution for this project and undertook the full-category door supporting works for Shougang Park International Convention and Exhibition Town, delivering more than 500 door units in total. These cover a wide range of custom door products, including revolving doors at the main entrances of the exhibition halls, stainless steel floor spring doors in passageways, elephant doors for transporting large exhibits, aluminum panel doors adapted to the industrial style, irregular rusted-steel-plate doors, fireproof and security doors, and roller shutter doors.
